Having collaborated with Aston Martin Racing for the past four years with previous race-winning car the DBR9, which was decorated with Le Mans class victory in both 2007 and 2008, Koni has confirmed its extended support for the next two years covering all Aston Martin race vehicles in addition to LMP1, as KONI will also be fitted to Aston Martins competing in the GT1, GT2, GT3 and GT4 classes.
This year the two Aston Martin LMP1, displayed in the iconic blue and orange Gulf Oil livery will return to Le Mans in search of outright victory having exceeded all expectations at La Sarthe in 2009 by finishing fourth overall and crossing the finish line as the first petrol-powered car.
