TVR Cerbera 4.2 AJP v8 - one of the nicest examples for sale at present - you know you want to! Please feel free to ring outside of normal opening hours - as long as its reasonable! Only 32000 miles - only 3 previous owners - brand new uprated clutch - MOTd ready to go. Here we have a 1998 TVR Cerbera, with the excellent 4.2litre AJP v8 engine [this one has the purple dipstick, so has 4.5 crank for reliability] - fabulously powerful, extremely enjoyable and FAST - obviously! Very tastefully specified in Aston Martin dark green metallic paint, with black leather trim, and a subtle flecked pattern on the cloth - not the usual purple / yellow lurid 80's spec! Now comes with tailored indoor car cover too. Car comes with all the usual electric windows & door & boot releases, together with 16" alloy wheels [front tyres excellent, rear tyres starting to get close to limit - surprise!], Sony CD stereo, airconditioning that works!, stainless steel sill cover plates, Meta alarm/immobiliser, TVR's 'little black book', red code tag with security details, brand new clutch with overhauled slave cylinder, full GAZ adjustable coilover suspension [very recently fitted by Main Dealer], a handbrake that works, and lots of attitude! Just been MOT'd, and can be serviced before collection. I noticed some micro blisters in an area on the bonnet / wings when i waxed it - i have taken a photo but they are so difficult to see, i didn't see them before! There is a bit of white marking from water ingress on one bottom corner of the windscreen, and a very small seam rip on the driver's seat base. There are a few stonechips on the front too, predictably, but absolutely nothing that detracts from the visual impact of this beauty! Remember, she is 10 years old! There is a huge ream of service information & bills - we have looked after this for the customer for a couple of years now, together with Fernhurst & Peninsula - there are bills for new oil cooler & Gaz coilover adjustable shocks & clutch replacement, among other things - the main thing is that it has been wonderfully reliable - has been to LeMans, and got back too! But seriously, barring a throttle position sensor [typically] when first purchased from Fernhurst Motor Co two years ago, this thing has not really missed a beat - she likes Super Plus Unleaded for best running, but hang the cost - she is such fun! Fernhurst have valued the car at �16000. The new clutch has recently been fitted at Peninsula TVR, and is the newer, updated clutch - don't ask how much it cost, i'm still wincing!. The owner has a thatched cottage which needs a new roof, so sadly the car has to go - which is a shame, as we will not be able to test drive if after service etc once it goes, especially as he just had to fork out for a new clutch too! It has been the highlight of our 25 years in business having this to maintain - it looks Fabulous on our forecourt - I am half hoping nobody will buy it! Talking of which, please don't mess around with piffling size offers, it only makes you look like a cheapskate! If it could be bought for a song, I would have snapped it up myself, and not need to be selling it to one of you lucky lot! But seriously, please buy it before plod takes a fancy to my Licence!
