Despite there being less than two weeks to go until the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show officially opens its doors, maybe it isn't too late for Aston Martin to abandon plans to unveil its Cygnet supermini and opt instead to unveil a prototype of this stunning Volare concept (pictured) at the world's biggest motor show. At least, that's what we'd like to see happen. The Aston Martin Volare concept is the brainchild of designer James Trim, who has proposed that the car will be a "next generation Aston Martin supercar" powered by hydrogen fuel. In an interview with our friends at Diseno-art.com, Trim said; "Aesthetically the vehicle sharpens up the familiar Aston Martin proportions, with much crisper shoulders and a noticeable floating rear deck. The solid front grille was inspired by the older V8 Vantage, while the flexible front fenders can alter their shape to reveal daytime running lights or full headlamps."
