A BUSINESSMAN faces being £96,000 out of pocket as he flogs his plush motors to start a new life in Florida.

Garry Macrae, 54, from Inverurie, paid a hefty £147,500 a year ago when he bought his wife a Bentley Continental GTC.

He is selling it for £98,500 – nearly £50,000 less than he paid – and flogging his £127,000 Aston Martin DB9 Volante for £79,500.

Garry said: “I’m very disappointed about how dramatically their worth has fallen, but there is nothing I can do,” he said. “They have to go.”
