Dubai, United Arab Emirates:  The Dubai International Motor Show is revving up to celebrate its 10th anniversary this year with an industry-leading show that reinforces its position as the top automotive event in the Middle East.  The motor show which is held every two years will take place from the 16 - 20 December at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Dubai.

Despite challenging economic conditions, the Dubai International Motor Show, organised by Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) continues to attract the unwavering support from global leaders within the industry. Aston Martin, Bentley, Bugatti, Daihatsu, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, KTM, Peugeot, Renault, Shelby Super Cars, Mitsubishi, and Zenvo, with first time appearances from AC Cars and Luxgen, are already preparing for a big presentation at this year's event.

Helal Saeed Almarri, CEO, Dubai World Trade Centre, said: "There is a real drive within the motor industry, and recent financial results suggest that most companies are showing gradual but steady signs of recovery. We have received definite commitments from many of the world's leading manufacturers for this year's Dubai International Motor Show. Companies are seeking to leverage their participation at this most influential event to stimulate sales turnover, and end the year on a strong note."

Many of the top automotive manufacturers from Europe, North America and Asia have confirmed their participation, with a number of concept cars, new models and hybrid cars scheduled to make their international debut during the five day event.

"Ford's commitment to the Middle East has never been stronger, and the Dubai International Motor Show provides an excellent opportunity to showcase our latest models and industry breakthroughs," said Waldo Galan, Ford Middle East's Managing Director. "We are proud to have been continuously part of the show since its launch in 1991 and look forward to marking its 10th anniversary as we debut some of our most innovative products and technologies in the region."

With the growth of automotive financing in the Middle East, DWTC is pleased to announce the new strategic partnership with Al Hilal Bank as platinum sponsor for this year's Dubai International Motor Show will bring attractive sales opportunities for both visitors and exhibitors.
