Joey Logano and his No. 20 Home Depot Toyota won the LENOX Industrial Tools 301, his first victory in 20 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races. This is his first victory and fourth top-10 finish in 2009. With the victory, Logano becomes the youngest winner in series history at 19 years, one month and four days. This is also his first victory and first top-10 finish in two races at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Grabbing second, Jeff Gordon and his No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet posted his 16th top-10 finish in 29 races at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. It is his 12th top-10 finish in 2009.
Kurt Busch landed in third in his No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge to post his eighth top-10 finish in 17 races at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
David Reutimann and Tony Stewart rounded out the top five.
Greg Biffle gave Ford their best result of the day. He finished 18th.
Joey Logano (first) was the highest finishing rookie.
Two-time champion Tony Stewart leads the NASCAR Sprint Cup point standings by 69 points over 4-time champion Jeff Gordon. Read more... (29937 bytes more)
