MOTORISTS face severe delays after a car crash on a Lower Earley main road.
Police closed Lower Earley Way between the junctions of Rushey Way and Meldreth Way shortly after 3pm today (Wednesday) when a sports car collided with a tree.
A male passenger was airlifted to Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital with severe head injuries and the driver was attended by paramedics.
Police spokesman Leo Tarring confirmed the road would remain closed until further notice.
