That's buggy ridiculous

GOLF CART COSTS £35,000.. BUT IT DOES COME WITH A FRIDGE

You'd have a fairway to go to beat this for luxury on the golf course... But then it is the world's most expensive buggy at £35,000 - the same price as a Porsche Boxster.

Called the Garia Soleil de Minuit, the golf cart features parts from luxury cars such as Aston Martin and Jaguar. It even has its own fridge. The buggy is built at the Valmet Automotive factory in Finland - same place as the Boxster. Garia, based in Texas, said the cart is designed to deliver the "ultimate on-course driving experience".

Spokesman Jesper Lovendahl added: "Buying a Garia is a statement like buying a Harley Davidson, a boat, a Porsche or a luxury watch."

The Soleil de Minuit will be available in Britain next month. If that's a bit pricey, you can pick up a standard Garia for £12,500. Look out for the next luxury golf buggy, the Tee-Bird...

Mirror golf bore Chris Eary writes: Buggies are the scourge of today's courses and if I had my way would be banned unless you are shooting your age, only have one leg, or are playing in 80 degrees. This ludicrous vehicle seems destined for retirement communities in Florida where large elderly Americans buggy to the shops and should be shunned like a text from Tiger Woods
